India Silverman is NYC based freelance lighting designer, assistant, and technician originating from Seattle. She received her BFA in Lighting Design from Boston University and has had the pleasure of working for San Francisco Opera, The Glimmerglass Festival, Santa Fe Opera, and Village Theater. She is a story and dramaturgically-driven designer, interested in text analysis and cohesion. She is inspired by the versatility of live performance and the talent her work can support.
